Allow "Current user" to be used in forms
Be able to select the default value in a form to be the current user. Thread in Slack: https://stacker-customers.slack.com/archives/CN1UV1CBH/p1679502034601449
Currently, the only way to achieve a wide-screen page (see attachment) is through using CSS (see this page for more details: https://community.stackerhq.com/t/using-css-to-make-list-view-full-width/603 ). Having this feature by native, apart from CSS, would make fitting data into these views much easier.
Data widgets on Custom Pages
Allow widgets that display data from your tables to be added to Custom Pages.
Create Sections in a Related Record Block
In the "Related Record" block you can list all of the fields you want but you can't categorize them in sections like you can in a normal "Fields" block. There are so many times when I have to influence users to navigate to a different table or page to display the data intelligently.
Real-time data retrieval
Stacker takes too long to update with new data from the airtable base (without having to press Airtable update frequently) We need to do stuff with those data relatively quickly via our portal (within a minute or two).
View more than 3 action buttons
On detailed layout, it is currently possible to see a maximum of 3 action buttons. I'd like to see more if the space on my screen permits.
"And" and "Or" in visibility conditions
Presently there is only an "And" in the visibility conditions. It would be nice to also have "Or". We have many process flow cases where we have a Viev (Approval) where a User Role should not be able to edit, except say 1 field which is a process stage field, but some roles can edit all. In other Views (Create) all can edit. We are able to refrain users to edit in the Approval View using Permissions, but the Edit button is still displayed Create an "Or" in the button visibilition condition would solve this.
ADJUST COLUMN WIDTH
It would be nce to be able to adjust the column width in the preview screen, so you can determine which colums you would like to see in full and which not if you want all your data in the screen, tx!
Airtable API key upgrade
Hey folks, just a quick update about the changes to Airtable API keys that's happening on the 1st of Feb, 2024. We're currently working hard on an upgrade path that will allow you to switch over to using the OAuth flow instead of API keys. We're aiming to have this upgrade path ready for you by the end of March, and we'll give you a heads up when it's available. In the meantime, please continue to use your existing API key, and do not make any changes until we've made the upgrade available. Also, a quick reminder: please don't share your Personal Access Token with us (or anyone), as it gives access to your user account and should be kept a secret. Thank you for your patience and understanding, we're dedicated to making the transition as smooth as possible.
Freeform building canvas
Having columns/rows within the general building canvas all throughout Stacker (or maybe "blocks" or "sections" is a better word), kind of like in Airtable Interfaces, would make the general canvas much more customizable when dragging elements onto the screen. Currently, all elements just stack one on top of the other. Being able to put elements side-by-side would really help fit in information in a more compact way, and would allow for a better aesthetic.
