ability to set and save filters by user would be an amazing option, as well as ability to turn on option to show "20 column fields and end user can select which to show or hide in their view and save as a view.

Alternatively... If there could be a default "on" status for inline filters.

As an example... If I had a simple Inline filter for Active / Inactive records...

Most the time I only want to see the Active records but every so often I need to dig for an inactive record as well.

Currently, I have to educate everyone on how to turn on the Filter for only active records... or I have to filter for only active records and then create an entirely separate view for inactive records (creating clutter and if I make a change I have to make it in two places).
