Would love to see an integration with Chargebee: https://www.chargebee.com/?ref=primary-header

I've had to turn away contracting work because of the lack of payment integrations. Would love to see this feature prioritized :-)

I'd like to enable users to make payments via Stripe. Instead of sending them to another website it should be inside stacker app ofc

There are a vast number of options for subscription payments and e-commerce payments. I would admit that these are huge use cases and most portal companies would attack this first first. I need a system where someone can post a bounty and pay my company the bounty. We then pay the bounty out after delivery of the service. (taking a fee for doing this) Yes Stripe is good for making the payment. But a service like Zelle is becoming super important because you will not have fees attached to the incoming and out going payments.

I'd love to understand more about the sort of payments you are interested to take with this request. Would it be selling things inside the portal or charging people to have access to the portal, or something else?

Sam Davyson: Think about how various form builders (Wufoo, Typeform etc.) integrate payments in their forms. So you wouldn't be able to 'create' a new record unless there's a successful payment ;) ..just one use case

Sam Davyson: The most ideal whitelabel situation I can think of is the ability to allow each of my clients to charge their customers a monthly or annual fee in order to be included in the directory. I've never tried this service, but they claim their API allows for you to receive payments from various methods, not just Stripe. This would be SO ideal! https://www.tryairpay.com/
... I would ideally like to take a percentage of each transaction, and have Stacker take a percentage, so that I don't have to pay for each and every whitelabel stacker app up front.

Sam Davyson: The use case I'm considering is selling a product or service. A potential customer can add a widget to a shopping cart (for example, add a widget record to the shopping cart table) and then be able to make a payment to receive said widget product

Tristan Joel: I agree, having Stacker partner with a service provider that has already solved this problem is the best way to go. I also agree that paying Stacker a percentage of each subscription (or transaction) is very appealing, if I succeed - they succeed !

Alex V: it’s exactly what I’d like as well. Users would register to a given activity in a form, and can pay at the end of the form to confirm.
Alternatively, the could complete the form, receive an email with a link to stripe or other to complete payment, and the status would be updated in airtable.

Sam B: I think the "alternative" could be implemented already via Zapier / Integromat
